SUMMARY:

Robowind’s robotics engineers design prototypes build and test robots and systems that accomplish wind turbine blade maintenance tasks. They also conduct research to find the most cost-efficient process to manufacture the robotic systems. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Develop recommendations for the automation of turbine blade maintenance processes
  2. Lead the design and delivery of proof-of-concept solutions to demonstrate viability in operational environments
  3. Lead hands-on and non-hands-on training sessions in the use of automation tools and best practices for delivery of robot-based maintenance solutions
  4. Install, or support the installation of, software and tools in operational environments
  5. Participate in the development of technical and operating models for robot implementation
  6. Analyze process automation requirements and design of automation solutions, architecture, and logic
  7. Configure and test automated processes prior to deployment into operational environments
  8. Participate in testing and revision of automated processes
  9. Develop and assure documentation according to Robowind standards, best practices, and operating procedures

 

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  1. Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience building Robotic Process Automation using MATLAB or Python
  2. Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in software development and engineering
  3. Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering
  4. Ability to work co-operatively as part of a team, as well as independently

 

QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED:

  1. Certified developer in MATLAB, SolidWorks, and Python
  2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills

 

COMPENSATION:
